This project was a 7-story, state of the art, acute care, OSHPD replacement hospital, built next to the existing hospital in a residential environment. It includes 130 patient rooms, 22 emergency rooms and four trauma bays. Morrow Meadows installed 2-4000amp services, two 2MW generators and two 25-kVA UPS systems. Morrow Meadows contract also included the Nurse Call, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Card Access, Closed Circuit Video Monitoring, Tele/Data System and the Med Gas Alarm Systems. The project was featured in a 2011 ENR news article regarding Sutter Heath’s IPD and IFOA partnerships. The project won numerous awards including the 2011 NECA Project Excellence Award, the 2010 Tekla Global BIM Award and the California ENR 2012 Best Projects Award.
