Design & Install Fiber Optic backbone for a new guest WiFi system throughout a multi-property resort hotel complex. In total, there were approximately 850 access points installed within guestrooms at the hotels. Infrastructure was installed between rooms to allow for new Cat.6A cabling to the new access points. Each access point required (2) Cat.6A cables back to the local IDF closets within the hotel towers.
MMC installed roughly 4 miles of Fiber Optic cabling in various strand counts and 95 miles of Cat.6A cabling for the new access points. We also installed (37) new rack locations with approx. (75) new Cat.6A patch panels in the various locations. Recently Morrow Meadows Corporation was awarded the Orange County NECA award for Electrical Excellence on this project.
